About Us
Kallumarri Rural Education and Development Society
Kallumarri Rural Education and Development Society is a non-government organization registered under societies registration act 21 of 1860 and dated 10th August 1992. KREDS taken up Developmental activities with empowerment of poor people's institutions and networking. KREDS is working under below poverty line, poor farmers, workers, single women, minorities, backward communities and natural resources management and rural development activities. The NGO has been undertaking all sorts of developmental programmes which benefit the rural folk of eight mandals of Ananthpuram district of Andhra Pradesh. As part of those developmental programmes, the KREDS has implementing of thrifts and credit schemes through self help approach since 1997 in two mandals. KREDS is a member organisation of Anantha Paryavarana Parirakshana Samiti since 1987.

OUR VISION
The goal of the organization is to develop the people living in rural area who are having poor socio-economic status.
OUR MISSION
Formation and strengthening of people and building awareness on various rural developments programmes and identify their problems with necessary solutions through people institutions.
Our Programs
Health awareness programme
To create awareness and also to educate the women and children of the village various health campaigns and awareness classes were conducted. Many people have actively participated and it has also shown a wide change among the people.
Environmental preservation activities
Many campaigns to preserve and conserve the nature were undertaken. Tree plantations and other activities which educate the village people and the society has been undertaken.
Water harvesting programmes
As there is scarcity of water in the village water harvesting system has been taken care and it has helped the village people to solve the water issues
Skill Training
Many skill training programs were conducted for the women for the financial independency and also to improve their skills

Health awareness programs and camps were conducted in the focus of improving the health of the people and educate them about the importance of health care system.
